Meeting of the Collaboration Agreement between the Digital Office of the Madrid City Council and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid
 

Madrid, February 6 2025 – Prof. Óscar García Suárez, new Rector of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, hosted a meeting with the Oficina Digital del Ayuntamiento de Madrid (Digital Office of the Madrid City Council) to analyze the progress achieved within the Collaboration Agreement between both institutions, which covers 5G communications, cybersecurity, internet of the things, and artificial intelligence. Representatives of the Madrid City Council and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid attended the meeting to discuss future plans to continue promoting the digital transformation of the city in collaboration with the university. The aim of the collaboration is to improve services and quality of life, promote the attraction of digital profiles, and position the city as a referent in the use of its technological infrastructure. The 5G Laboratory of the 6GMadLab ecosystem of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación (ETSIT) plays a key role in the collaboration.
