XRECO Plenary Meeting 2025
Turin, February 12 to 14, 2024 – The XRECO project consortium held its plenary meeting from February 12th to 14th, 2024, at the RAI R&D Centre in Turin, Italy.
During this meeting, participants reviewed the progress made within the project, evaluated the results achieved to date, and discussed the challenges and lessons learned since the project's inception. The agenda included plenary sessions, detailed presentations of the project's demonstrators, and workshops focused on the validation and exploitation of results.
One of the highlights of the meeting was the demonstration of XRCapsules by Visyon Mediapro, which presented significant advancements in the technology. The Zaubar CMS demo was also showcased. Regarding validations, the latest results and tests were presented, with a particular focus on the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and its validation process, facilitating a productive exchange of knowledge among the consortium members.
The Grupo de Tratamiento de Imágenes (GTI) had the opportunity to present the latest developments in its research lines, particularly highlighting applications in Augmented Reality (XR) and its key contributions to the project's testing. Additionally, the next steps for each of the Work Packages (WP) were discussed to assess their impact on the future progress of the XRECO project.
The meeting provided an ideal environment for strengthening collaboration among consortium members, fostering an exchange of experiences and knowledge that will contribute to the advancement and success of the project.
